Research Interests Information Systems Development (ISD) applying a social perspective. A fundamental analysis of the supporting theories taking into account multidisciplinary perspectives such as Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology among others. A Final goal is to develop effective information systems acknowledging human factors.
Research topics include organisational semiotics, theory of organized activity, language action perspective, activity theory, and other social approaches to IS development. Some related areas are HCI, CSCW, requirements engineering, analysis, design and programming methodologies, object-oriented analysis and design, modelling languages perspectives—UML, RAD, Ontology Charts, etc.
